BellCue

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2026

The short version. BellCue is a bell-schedule app for teachers and students. Your schedules stay on your device and in your own iCloud account — we can't see them and we don't have a server that collects your data. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some device information to deliver them. The paid Pro subscription is handled by Apple. We don't sell your data.

This Privacy Policy explains how the BellCue app ("BellCue", "the app", "we", "us") handles information. By using BellCue you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who we are

BellCue is published by Aurumiti LLC, the company behind the EI Brainiac brand. You can reach us about privacy at support@eibrainiac.com.

2. Information you create in the app

BellCue lets you build and store bell schedules, days off, and related settings. This information is:

BellCue has no login, no user account, and does not ask for your name, email address, or contacts.

3. Camera

If you scan a shared schedule QR code, BellCue uses your camera only to read that code in the moment. Images are processed on your device and are not stored or transmitted by us.

4. Notifications

If you enable bell alerts, notifications are scheduled locally on your device by iOS. We do not run a push-notification server and do not see whether or when a notification fires.

5. Advertising (free version only)

The free version of BellCue displays ads using Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as device identifiers, approximate (non-precise) location derived from your IP address, and app-usage signals. This is used to deliver and measure ads.

6. Purchases and subscriptions

BellCue Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Payment and billing are handled entirely by Apple — we never receive your credit card or payment details. We only learn whether your device has an active Pro entitlement, which Apple verifies on the device. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

7. Analytics and diagnostics

We do not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs beyond the advertising described in Section 5. If you choose to share crash and usage diagnostics with Apple in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us aggregated, non-identifying crash reports through App Store Connect.

8. Children's privacy

BellCue is intended for teachers and students in a general-audience context and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Data retention and deletion

Your schedule data remains until you delete it in the app or remove the app. iCloud-synced data is controlled by you through your Apple ID / iCloud settings. Because we don't store your content on our own servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf; deleting it on your device and in iCloud removes it.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and to object to certain processing. Since BellCue's only third-party data processing is advertising, you can exercise most of these choices directly through the consent and tracking controls described in Section 5, or by contacting us. We do not sell personal information.

11. Third-party services

The services BellCue relies on have their own privacy policies:

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be announced in the app or on this page.
